Warmer for Friday but windy

**A Wind Advisory will be in effect for most of eastern Siouxland today from 10 AM until 6 PM**

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Yesterday made for an almost perfect Fall day.

Temperatures warmed up, the sun was out, and winds stayed mild.

Our Friday is also looking pretty nice.

Temperatures will move up again today, with a high near 70, and a partly cloudy sky.

The winds will kick back up though, with gusts reaching around 35 mph today for many of us.

Some areas may see wind gusts reach up to 50 mph (in the eastern half of SIouxland).

The winds should calm down as we head into the evening hours.

The sky will stay partly cloudy tonight, but there is a chance of getting some light rain showers in the late hours.

The low will be in the mid 40s.

Our start to the weekend will be pleasant.

Saturday brings back a mostly sunny sky, and the high drops back into the mid 60s, but the winds stay light.

Sunday afternoon brings chances of rain showers and possibly thunderstorms.

The high will be in the mid 60s.

Those rain chances continue through Sunday night and into Monday.

Monday’s high will sink down to the low 50s, and the gusty winds return.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny, but the high stays in the mid 50s.

Wednesday will be partly cloudy, with a high in the upper 50s.

Thursday and Friday will be partly cloudy, with highs in the low 50s.
