SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – The Pier Center for Autism is embarking on a campaign to raise $1.5 million to build a new facility.
The current center is located at 709 Iowa Street in Sioux City. Officials for the center say they want to build a new state-of-the-art autism center so they can expand their services to the community.
The new facility will be built at 4061 Stadium Drive.
On November 7 the Pier Center for Autism plans to hold a kick-off event at the restaurant “M’s on 4th.”
The event is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the community invited to learn more about the center’s plans to build a new facility.
