IRETON, Iowa (KTIV) — After 13 years the Festival of Trees is returning to Ireton, Iowa.
The Ireton Christian School is bringing back the festival this weekend.
From 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, 30 decorated trees will be on display at the school.
All of the trees were decorated by community members, students and local businesses. The theme for the trees range from Christmas to farming and even Candy Land.
The festival will also include kids games, silent auction as well as free food with goodwill donations.
Organizers say money raised at the event will be used to help support auxiliary projects at Ireton Christian School, such as providing new windows and gym mats to the school.
The festival takes place at the school, located at 104 5th Street, Ireton, Iowa.
