SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – While we were seeing an increase in our cloud cover during the afternoon, it was a quiet day with highs pretty close to average for this time of year.
Skies will be staying mostly cloudy tonight but lows will be warmer than last night as we head into the 20s across the region.
This quiet weather pattern will persist for the rest of the week with highs tomorrow a bit warmer than what we saw today in the upper 30s and lower 40s as we go back to mostly sunny skies.
The sunshine will continue on Wednesday as highs will once again be in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Thursday will see a little more cloud cover return to the region but temperatures will mostly remain unaffected as a lot of us will be able to go a little over 40 degrees again.
We will see a little cool-down on Friday with highs backing into the low to mid 30s under a partly cloudy sky.
Saturday does warm up better as we get back into the low to mid 40s with still some sunshine.
Some of that sun may begin to disappear later in the weekend with highs on Sunday cooling into the upper 30s to near 40.
A little light snow will have a chance of moving across the region Sunday night with a lot of clouds lingering around on Monday with highs cooler only hitting the 20s.
