SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - It was a day that looked nicer out than it was as afternoon temperatures were only in the teens for most of us.
Clouds are going to be on the increase this evening and some light snow is likely going to spread across the region with less than an inch of accumulation expected with northern Siouxland being the more favored area to see accumulations.
That area of snow quickly moves east leaving us with a partly cloudy day on Wednesday and highs in the low to mid 20s.
A better warming trend then gets going with highs by Thursday getting into the mid 30s despite a few more clouds moving in.
Even warmer air moves in for Friday as highs could go into the low 40s, but it could come with a slight chance of a light rain and snow mix.
A little light snow could continue into Friday night with colder air returning on Saturday with highs in the upper teens.
Sunday stays pretty chilly as well with highs in the low 20s with just a small chance of a snow shower into Sunday night.
A little more sun and warmth should move back in for the start of next week as highs get into the low 30s Monday and Tuesday.
