NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) -- The Norfolk Police Division is investigating two reports of skimming devices being placed on two Norfolk business gas pumps.
Norfolk police say skimming devices are designed to steal your credit card information when you pay at the gas pump with a credit card.
Police believe the devices were installed on the pumps sometime Friday, Jan. 17 or Saturday, Jan. 18.
Police say if you have used a credit card to purchase gasoline at a gas station in Norfolk, Nebraska, since that time you should review your bank statements for any suspicious activity.
Norfolk PD is in the process of contact all gasoline stations in Norfolk to notify them of this information.
