**Wind Chill Advisory for northeastern Siouxland from 9 pm Thursday until 7 am Friday**
**Wind Chill Warning for far northeastern Siouxland from 9 pm Thursday until 10 am Friday**
SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Despite a lot of sunshine today, it did nothing to help temperatures with highs across eastern Siouxland only in the single digits.
Tonight will not be nearly as cold as last night thanks to a south wind that will start developing.
Lows in Sioux City Thursday night will be close to zero.
The worst of the wind chill will again be in northeastern Siouxland where a Wind Chill Warning and Advisory will be in effect.
Then Friday will warm up much better as highs reach the low 30s under a mostly sunny sky.
That south wind will be gusting over 30 miles per hour at times so wind chills will still be on the cold side of things.
Saturday is looking even warmer when highs may top the 40-degree mark despite more clouds.
Low 40s are also expected on Sunday under a partly cloudy sky.
Monday will bring us a slight chance of light rain or light snow as highs top out in the upper 30s.
Some light snow could linger into Monday night before that system moves out by Tuesday.
Tuesday does turn colder with highs in the mid 20s and it will likely be breezy.
Wednesday is looking partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 20s. Mid 30s will return by Thursday.
