SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A conducting lesson was given Friday by the Sioux City Symphony maestro, over lunch at Minerva's.
The event is part of the "Lunch and Learn" program, hosted by the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra.
Ryan Haskins, the Music Director of the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra, says the program is meant to highlight unusual aspects of the Sioux City Symphony.
He said Friday's program, The Mystery of the Maestro, focused on conductors.
The lunch started with a talk about the audition process.
It was followed by an interactive lesson, where the audience members learned the basics of conducting.
