Light precipitation with gusty northwest winds

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

A system moving through the area has brought some showers and a little freezing drizzle as well through the morning.

The chance for some light rain or snow showers continues into the afternoon, mainly in northwest Iowa.

Any snow accumulation looks to end up under an inch with the best chance for accumulation being northeast of Siouxland.

Temperatures will slowly fall through the afternoon with winds gusting up to 30 mph out of the northwest as the front pushes east.

Overnight a little clearing will work in with lows in the upper teens.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy and a little cooler with temperatures in the upper 20s.

Another chance for some light snow works in Tuesday night into early Wednesday.

Accumulations look to end up under an inch for most of the area with just a bit more possible in northeast Nebraska.

After an even colder Wednesday, we start warming back up for the rest of the week with highs in the 30s Thursday and 40s Friday with mostly sunny skies both days.
