PONCA, Nebraska (KTIV) - It was the perfect weather this Saturday for ice fishing in Siouxland, and folks got to get out on the ice for some fun.
Ponca State Park hosted a free event where people could learn how to catch and clean fish out on the ice.
The event took place on a frozen pond where the park supplied bait and equipment to get everyone set up.
Those fishing caught rainbow trout, bass, and bluegill.
If you missed out on the fun this weekend, the event will return next weekend at Ponca State Park.
