SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Singing, dancing, costume changes and more. All could be found at the annual Crusader Classic show choir invitational Saturday held at Bishop Heelan High School.

Nearly 1,000 show choir students from the tri-state area competed in the competition. Show Choirs were judged on their vocals, choreography, overall show, and their band.

Leaders with the competition say it's exciting to see everything come together.

"It's really cool who has started, some of the students have worked on their shows since July. So, to see them come to the culmination of a big performance in front of a screaming crowd. It's really fun to watch them be excited and get to practice their craft," said Rachael Wragge, choir director.

18 different show choirs performed at the competition. Awards were then given out after all the performances.
