SIOUX CITY (KTIV) -- Out of an abundance of caution, the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra is making the decision to postpone Saturday’s concert indefinitely.
The announcement was made on their Facebook page Thursday afternoon.
In the post, CEO Travis Morgan said the health, safety, and quality of life of the musicians, patrons, and staff is the Sioux City Symphony’s highest priority.
In addition, all Symphony activities and events are being suspended until further notice.
The Sioux City Symphony Orchestra says they continue to closely monitor the situation and will work with the city and state to determine the next steps regarding the remainder of the 2019-2020 season.
The organization says they plan to provide more details on ticket exchanges and refunds in the next two weeks.
