Few showers Thursday but higher chances late Friday into Saturday

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

We have had another round of light showers moving through the area this morning with a few flakes even mixing in up north.

The rest of the day will be pretty quiet with mostly cloudy skies and just a slight chance of an afternoon light shower.

Temperatures will be a little cooler than yesterday as we top out in the mid to upper 40s.

We look to stay dry overnight with clouds holding strong and temperatures in the mid 30s.

Friday starts dry but rain chances will increase in the afternoon as a more significant system pushes in, leading to steady rain Friday night into Saturday which could be heavy at times.

Rainfall totals may edge over an inch by the time it ends late Saturday.

Saturday afternoon could even bring some rumbles of thunder.

Sunshine looks to return Sunday with clouds decreasing through the day and temperatures returning to the mid to upper 50s.

There is a chance for a few showers late Monday into early Tuesday but, aside from that, things are looking drier with temperatures hovering near 60 degrees next week.
