SIOUX COUNTY, Iowa (KTIV) -- An additional COVID-19 case has been confirmed in Sioux County, Iowa, bringing the county up to two.
According to Sioux County Community Health Partners, the individual is an adult between the ages of 61 and 80 years old, and has been out-of-state for more than 15 days.
The person is in isolation and will continue to recover out-of-state. No further information has been released at this time. The first case of COVID-19 in Sioux County was confirmed on March 22.
Health officials remind the public to prevent the spread to COVID-19 clean your hands often, avoid close contact with others, stay home if you're sick, cover your coughs and sneezes, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
The COVID-19 count in Iowa is now over 180 confirmed positive cases.
