Nebraska COVID-19 cases surpass 12,000, three additional deaths

LINCOLN, Neb. (KTIV) -- Nebraska health officials reported 145 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the state's total to 12,134.

Health officials also reported three more COVID-19 deaths on Sunday, leaving the statewide total at 150.

As of May 24, officials say out of the 86,027 Nebraskans that have been tested for COVID-19, 73,598 came back negative.

Nebraska doesn't currently release recovery rates for COVID-19 patients.
