DAKOTA CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - COVID-19 testing continues in Nebraska.

Thursday, a "Test Nebraska" site opened at the Dakota City Fire Hall. The site was open from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

On Friday, the site will open from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

The Nebraska National Guard is conducting the tests in a drive-thru setting. Results can be accessed in two to five days.

The National Guard says that people should take advantage of an event like this.

"Come get tested, tell your friends. Like I was saying while we're out here people should take advantage of it and get as many people tested as possible," says Specialist Michael Paronto.

Paronto says that they are taking things "day by day," and hope that COVID-19 case numbers will continue to go down in Nebraska.
