**Flood Watch for Holt County from Tuesday evening into Tuesday night**
SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Lots of clouds helped hold the air temperature down today although it still didn’t feel a bit good outside due to all that humidity.
Clouds will hang around tonight keeping a very muggy feel across the area with low in the low to mid 70s.
Tuesday is looking like another very humid day as highs will approach 90 with a partly sunny sky.
After 7 pm, some storms may start to creep into western Siouxland and those will continue to march east into the nighttime hours.
A slight risk of severe storms is possible across western Siouxland and there’s a chance of a a few strong cells making it to Sioux City as we get past midnight.
Holt County is in a Flood Watch for Tuesday evening into Tuesday night for the potential of over 2 inches of rain under the heavier thunderstorms.
Some of the rain and storm chances could linger into Wednesday as well with highs in the upper 80s.
Our weather pattern does appear to dry out as we reach the Thursday through Saturday time frame with highs getting into the low 90s.
Sunday could give us a chance of a few isolated thunderstorms with highs in the low 90s yet again.
Temperatures remain about the same on Monday under a partly cloudy sky.
