South Sioux City Public Library opening for full service

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) -- The South Sioux City Public Library is opening its doors for full service starting July 1.

The library is encouraging visitors to wear masks and gloves while maintaining proper social distancing. Other safety precautions include distanced computers and sanitizing spray.

Instead of returning items to the library staff, library officials say visitors should return their items to the dropbox on the south side of the building.

Officials say the library will also offer a carry-out option, which will allow patrons to put their items on hold. Library staff will bring the requested materials out to vehicles upon arrival.

The library will be open from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and will be open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
