SIOUX CITY (KTIV) -- Sioux City police have arrested the second and final suspect allegedly involved in two Walgreens robberies.
According to the Sioux City Police Department, officials arrested Chastyn Tyndall on June 29 at about 6:40 p.m.
Police say a car that Tyndall was a passenger in was stopped in the 2800 block of Gordon Dr. by officers. Tyndall allegedly exited the car and attempted to elude officers on foot but was taken into custody a short distance later.
Tyndall was booked into the Woodbury County Jail on several outstanding warrants.
The Sioux City Police Department had already arrested another suspect, 29-year-old Tarisha Grant of Macy, Nebraska for first-degree robbery. She was booked into the Woodbury County Jail back on June 18.
The SCPD says the robberies occurred on June 12 and June 13.
The robbery on June 12 occurred at about 10:52 pm, Sioux City police responded to a robbery at the Morningside Walgreens at 4560 Morningside Ave, after Tyndall allegedly threatened a clerk with a knife and stole several items from the store.
The second robbery on June 13 occurred at about 12:39 am, this time Sioux City police responded to the Walgreens at 1900 Hamilton Blvd, in which Tyndall allegedly displayed a knife and stole cash from the register and merchandise.
No one was injured during either robberies.
