South Dakota reporting 62 new COVID-19 cases, 2 additional deaths

(KTIV) - On Wednesday, South Dakota health officials reported 62 new positive cases of COVID-19 and two additional virus-related deaths, this according to the state's department of health.

The new cases bring the state's total confirmed cases to 6,826, with South Dakota's death toll now at 93.

Sixty-two people in the state are currently hospitalized with the virus, while 5,933 people have recovered, an increase of 61 since Tuesday.
