South Dakota reporting 4 additional COVID-19 deaths, 67 more cases

(KTIV) - On Thursday, South Dakota health officials reported 67 new positive cases of COVID-19 and four additional virus-related deaths, this according to the state's department of health.

The new cases bring the state's total confirmed cases to 6,893, with South Dakota's death toll now at 97.

As of July 2, 64 people in the state are currently hospitalized with the virus, while 5,982 people have recovered, an increase of 49 since Wednesday.
