Iowa reports 464 additional COVID-19 cases, 597 more recoveries and four new deaths

(KTIV) -- There were 464 new, confirmed COVID-19 cases Friday, according to the state's dashboard, which brings the state's total number of cases to 30,430.

Four additional deaths were reported within this time frame, bringing the state's death toll at 721 as of Friday.

There were also 597 more recoveries reported for a total of 24,354.

As of Friday, the total number of hospitalizations in Iowa is 146, which is one more than Thursday. Of those hospitalizations, 40 were in the ICU.

In Iowa, 5,580 new tests were given for a total of more than 321,959 people that have been tested for COVID-19.
