South Dakota reports 42 additional COVID-19 cases

(KTIV) - On Sunday, South Dakota health officials reported 42 new positive cases of COVID-19, this according to the state's department of health.

The new cases bring the state's total confirmed cases to 7,063.

South Dakota's death toll remains at 97.

As of July 5, 59 people in the state are currently hospitalized, which is five more than yesterday.

6,063 people have recovered.
