Scattered thunderstorms rumble through Siouxland Tuesday

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

A front is moving through Siouxland at this time with cooler temperatures and breezy conditions behind it.

Areas east of Interstate 29 may get a storm or two this afternoon containing large hail and strong winds.

Otherwise, expect lingering cloud cover and cooler air behind the front to give us a cool July afternoon with temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

We stay mostly cloudy tonight and may manage to form a bit of fog.

Wednesday starts with plenty of cloud cover but we should clear out by the afternoon with highs topping out near 80.

Thursday also looks dry before we see a chance for a few thunderstorms Thursday night.

Watch News 4 Live at Five to see if the cooler temperatures will be sticking around.
