SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The defense called on two individuals to take the stand on day four of Jordan Henry's murder trial at the Woodbury county courthouse.
One witness who testified was Dr. Suzette Glasner, a clinical psychologist.
Dr. Glasner testified over the phone saying she believes Henry suffered from substance abuse problems and mental health issues since his teenage years.
Henry is accused of killing 40-year-old Elizabeth Bockholt. In testimony from earlier this week, a forensic pathologist says Bockholt suffered from hemorrhages, indicating a force strong enough to break blood vessels was used. The victim also had congestion in her face, and petechiae, which are indications of strangulation
Dr. Glasner says Henry's alleged violence could be the result of antisocial personality disorder, but cannot be certain.
Attorneys will submit their written closing arguments to the judge since it is a bench trial with no jury.
A verdict is expected in late August.
