No injuries in helicopter ‘controlled landing’ near Emerson, NE

NEAR EMERSON, Nebr. (KTIV) - Authorities say no one was injured in the "controlled landing" of a helicopter that had hit a power line near Emerson, Nebraska, on Friday afternoon.

The helicopter landed in a cornfield, off of Highway 35, after it hit the power line at around 2 p.m.

Officials with the Dakota County Sheriff's Office say the helicopter didn't suffer any damage.

Again, no one was hurt in the controlled landing
