Northwestern beats Dakota Wesleyan for fourth straight win

Northwestern beat Dakota Wesleyan, 3-1, on Wednesday night in Orange City, Iowa.

ORANGE CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- The Northwestern College volleyball team won their fourth straight match Wednesday, beating Dakota Wesleyan, 3-1. The Red Raiders are now 8-1 overall and 6-1 in GPAC play. The Tigers fall to 8-6 overall and 4-6 in conference play.

Dakota Wesleyan won the first set, 25-17, after jumping out to an 8-1 lead. Northwestern won the next three sets, 25-23, 25-16 and 25-20.

The Red Raiders were led by senior Makenzie Fink, who had 21 kills. A.J. Kacmarynski added 13 kills and Anna Wedel added 12. The Tigers were led by Ady Dwight, who had 21 kills.

Northwestern, who's season was delayed for nearly three weeks, continues their busy schedule on Friday when they host Doane at 7:30 pm. The Red Raiders have played seven matches in the last two weeks.
