(KTIV) -- Nebraska health officials reported 924 new cases of COVID-19 in the state on Wednesday, bringing the state's total number of cases since the pandemic began up to 54,467.
There were three new virus-related deaths reported, bringing Nebraska's death toll to 530.
Nebraska's COVID-19 dashboard indicates 311 residents are currently hospitalized, with a total of 2,593 residents who have been hospitalized due to the virus.
State health officials say Nebraska's total recoveries rose from 36,950 to 37,122.
So far, 524,094 Nebraskans have been tested for the virus and officials say 469,310 of them have come back negative.
The Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department has reported five more COVID-19 cases, bringing the county's total to cases to 156.
To date, Cedar County has had no virus-related deaths.
The Elkhorn Logan Valley Health Department has reported 228 positive cases with 106 reported as recovered.
To date, Cuming County has had one virus-related deaths.
Local health officials confirmed 13 more COVID-19 cases in Dakota County. According to the Dakota County Health Department, this brings the county's total up to 2,425.
No new virus-related deaths have been reported in Dakota County. To date, the county has had 44 virus-related deaths.
Dixon County has reported three new positive cases, bringing their total to 152.
To date, Dixon County has had two virus-related deaths.
Madison County has had 1,105 positive cases with 703 reported as recovered.
Madison County has had seven virus-related deaths since the pandemic began.
Stanton County has had 72 positive cases with 45 reported as recovered.
Stanton County has had no virus-related deaths since the pandemic began.
Local health officials have reported three more cases in Thurston County. This brings the county's total positive cases up to 343.
A total of four virus-related deaths have been reported in the county.
Wayne County has had two more COVID-19 cases reported for a total of 296.
No virus-related deaths have been reported in the county.
