Gov. Reynolds extends Public Health Emergency Declaration another 30 days

IOWA (KWWL) -- Governor Kim Reynolds has signed a new proclamation that extends all COVID-19 mitigation measures another 30 days.

The state's Public Health Disaster Emergency is now extended until 11:59 Sunday, Nov. 15.

Included in the proclamation are requirements for bars and restaurants to maintain 6 feet of distancing between groups and ensuring that all customers are seated.

Other public health requirements remain for establishments such as gyms, casinos, salons, theaters. The proclamation also extends the suspension of weight limits for transportation of agricultural supplies.

Along with other relief measures, suspension of weight limits for transportation of agricultural supplies is extended with the new proclamation.
