SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Iowa State Auditor, Rob Sand was in Sioux City Friday for the “Health Care is on the Ballot” event.

Sand discussed the health care issues at stake in this election, and Joe Biden's plan to "beat" COVID-19.

He was joined by Western Iowa elected officials Senator Jackie Smith and Representative Tim Kacena.

Sand said the Republican Party is working to undo the ObamaCare in the Supreme Court and claims if this happens, 1 in 20 Americans could be affected.

"And ultimately that's what's on the ballot in a couple of weeks, it's whether or not we want to move forward and continue towards expanding health care coverage and access to health care in Iowa, and across the country, or whether we want to move backwards to a place where we have pulled the affordable care act and replaced it with nothing," said Sand.

Sand also made stops in Carroll and Storm Lake, Iowa.
