CLAY COUNTY, South Dakota (KTIV) - Monday was the last day you could register to vote in South Dakota. But as long as you are already registered to vote, you still have time and options on how to vote.
Clay County Auditor Carri Crum says you can vote inside the Auditor's Office, outside the courthouse in their mobile command trailer, by mail, or at the polls on election night.
She says people can still request an absentee ballot. The last day to request one is Nov. 2. Ballots must be received by your local auditor's office, in South Dakota, by Nov. 3.
"We have really had record number, like I said we are sitting at about 400 above normal right now, and we still have two weeks to go," said Crum.
Crum says if you are planning on going to the polls on election day, it's going to look a little bit different, due to COVID-19.
