DAKOTA DUNES, S.D. (KTIV) -- Authorities responded to a rollover accident on Interstate 29 Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred at about 4:05 p.m. near Exit 1 on I-29, which leads to Dakota Dunes, South Dakota.
Authorities say only one vehicle was involved in the crash, a 1998 Toyota RAV4. The vehicle was reportedly traveling northbound on the interstate when it went off the roadway, into the median and rolled.
The 16-year-old driver suffered minor injuries but was not transported to a local hospital. She was the only occupant of the vehicle and she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of crash.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating, charges are pending.
