**High Wind Watch for Holt County from Wednesday night through Friday afternoon**
SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - It was another warm day across the region by mid-January standards as highs soared into the 40s for many of us and even the 50s for a few of us.
We’ll continue with this quiet and mild weather pattern for one more day as a few more clouds move in on Wednesday with highs again the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Big changes start arriving Wednesday night as a storm system will be approaching. After midnight, the wind will start picking up.
Then an area of light rain and light snow is expected to move into Siouxland from Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
That area of precipitation will move east with part of Thursday then staying drier although it will stay wind and colder with highs in the upper 30s to near 40.
I'll have more about how much snow we may be expecting from this system tonight on News 4 at 5, 6, and 10.
