A windy Tuesday with a few flurries possible

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Like yesterday, we have seen some light snow showers this morning in Siouxland.

This time, the northern counties had the flakes fly.

Those are starting to wrap up at this point and the system causing those is motoring eastward.

This has resulted in winds gusting to nearly 50 miles per hour in northern Siouxland.

It will stay blustery this afternoon and, because of that, it will feel colder than yesterday afternoon despite similar temperatures.

We will again manage peeks of sunshine as we head through the rest of the day.

Skies will continue to clear overnight with lows near 20 degrees and calmer winds.

Our warmest days will be coming for Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures in the low to mid 40s and sunshine overhead.

The weekend brings our next chance of snow; the latest on what to expect with that on News 4 Live at Five.
