(KTIV) - South Dakota health officials are reporting 217 new cases of COVID-19 since Monday, bringing the state's total to 110,593.
According to Tuesday's reporting, 153 of the new cases are confirmed cases. There are currently 2,204 active cases of the virus in the state.
State data shows 106,545 residents have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic.
Ninety-seven residents remain hospitilized due to the virus, up 11 from Monday. Since the pandemic began, 6,461 residents have been hospitilized in the state due to the virus.
Health department data shows 82,257 Moderna vaccines and 73,003 Pfizer vaccines have been administered in the state. So far 7.3 percent of residents in the state have completed their vaccine series, with 15.21 percent having received at least their first dose.
Bon Homme County
Positive cases in Bon Homme County remains at 1,502 since the pandemic began, with 1,473 having recovered.
The death toll remains at 25.
So far 1,669 vaccines have been administered in the county, with 445 having completed their vaccine series.
Total positive cases in Clay County remains at 1,774 as of Tuesday. State health officials say 1,742 residents have recovered.
No additional deaths are being reported, keeping the total at 15.
Clay County has administered 2,393 COVID-19 vaccines. A total of 744 people have completed their vaccine series.
Nineteen new cases are being reported in Lincoln County of Tuesday, bringing the total at 7,609. Officials say 7,402 have recovered.
Lincoln County is reporting no new deaths, whcih keeps their death toll at 76.
The state health department says 14,148 doses of the vaccines have been administered in the county. A total of 5,124 people have completed their series.
Three new cases of COVID-19 are being reported in Union County, bringing the total since the pandemic began to 1,949. So far 1,860 people who have tested positive have recovered.
The death toll in Union County remains at 39.
So far 1,198 vaccines have been administered in the county, with 312 people having completed their vaccine series.
Four new cases are being reported in Yankton County on Tuesday, bringing the county's total to 2,778. Officials say 2,710 people have recovered in the county.
The death toll in the county remains at 28.
