SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The clouds will be thickening during the day on Saturday and by later Saturday afternoon we could start to see some chance of light rain showers developing as highs get into the mid 40s.
Some of that light rain starts to turn to light snow from Saturday evening through Saturday night with northern Siouxland standing the best chance of it being heavy enough to accumulate from 1 to 3 inches.
Sioux City and the rest of central Siouxland will likely see less than an inch of accumulation with southern Siouxland not getting a lot out of this system.
Most of the light snow will be gone by early Sunday morning and then we’ll be clearing out our skies with highs a little cooler in the upper 30s.
We'll keep you updated all weekend on Saturday night's snow chance.
