Much warmer temperatures move in Tuesday with windy conditions

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

The day started with a warm front pushing through the area and bringing a southerly breeze along with it.

That has continued to pick up through the morning and will be going at 15 to 30 miles per hour this afternoon.

That strong southwest wind will pull warmer air into our area and we will climb all the way into the mid to upper 50s this afternoon under sunny skies.

The winds will drop off in the evening hours and, with clear skies in place, temperatures will fall back into the upper 20s by Wednesday morning.

Patchy fog may form overnight where snow remains on the ground.

Winds will be much lighter on Wednesday but the weather will otherwise be similar to today with highs again in the mid to upper 50s and sunny skies.

How long we will be keeping the above average temperatures around on News 4 Live at Five.
