Mar. 25: Nebraska reports 19% of 16 and older population fully vaccinated against COVID-19

(KTIV) - Nebraska health officials are reporting 767,740 of the state's 941,815 allocated vaccines have been administered.

The Nebraska COVID-19 dashboard shows at least 283,663 people have completed their vaccine series. This means 19.1% of Nebraska's 16 and older population has completed their vaccinations.

Health department data shows Nebraska has had 207,227 positive cases since the pandemic began. So far, 159,163 of those cases have recovered.

The state is currently reporting 107 active hospitalizations due to the virus.

There have been nine additional COVID-19 deaths in the state, bringing Nebraska's death toll to 2,159.
