3 Siouxland airports getting funds from Federal Aviation Administration

SPENCER, Iowa (KTIV) - Three Siouxland airports will have help from the Federal Aviation Administration to pay for projects.

Of the $627 million in infrastructure and safety projects the FAA will fund, $290,000 will help the Cherokee County Regional install taxiway lighting, and reconstruct taxiway lighting.

The Spencer Municipal Airport will get $300,000 dollars to seal the runway pavement surface and pavement joints.

And $396,000 will help fund several projects at the Pender, Nebraska, Municipal Airport, including the sealing of taxiway and taxi-lane pavement joints.
