PIERCE, Nebraska (KTIV) - The Nebraska Cornhusker's have the first addition to their 2023 recruiting class and it's someone local.
Pierce's Benjamin Brahmer announced his commitment to the Huskers on Twitter Friday morning. Brahmer helped lead Pierce to the Class C-1 State Championship this past fall. The 6-6 Sophomore had 44 catches for 747 yards and 10 touchdowns this past season.
Ben Brahmer is the first Husker recruit out of Pierce since tight-end Matt Herian signed with Nebraska in 2002.
