April 5: Nebraska has administered nearly 950,000 COVID-19 vaccines

(KTIV) - Nebraska health officials are reporting 948,824 of the state's 1,088,015 allocated vaccines have been administered.

The Nebraska COVID-19 dashboard shows at least 372,992 residents have completed their vaccine series. This means 25.1% of Nebraska's 16 and older population has completed their vaccinations.

Health department data shows Nebraska has had 211,958 positive cases since the pandemic began. So far, 164,300 of those cases have recovered.

The state is currently reporting 132 active hospitalizations due to the virus.

There have been no additional COVID-19 deaths in the state, bringing Nebraska's death toll to 2,181.
