NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) - There were a few teens at the Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health District’s vaccination clinic on Monday at the Norfolk Senior Center.
That's because nearly 250 people were able to receive their COVID-19 vaccine at a clinic held at the center.
Anyone 16 and older can sign up to get a vaccine in the Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department's area, which includes Burt, Cuming, Madison and Stanton Counties.
If someone 16 to 18 years of age is signed up to get a vaccine, a parent or guardian has to be with the individual.
On Monday, people received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the center. Vaccines are given by appointment only and any extra doses leftover will be given to those on the waiting list.
