SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The Siouxland District Health Department Board of Health held a virtual meeting this morning.
In that meeting, they discussed the current trends in regard to COVID-19 and vaccinations.
The age group having the most positive cases is school-aged kids, which is why they've been working with the schools.
They say so far Woodbury County has administered over 55,000 total doses of the vaccine. Officials with the Siouxland District Health Department say that they have had openings in most of their recent clinics.
"We are trying to figure out how we will maneuver this over the course of the next month or so, because again with our mass clinics as many as we have done, you know we have had openings in almost all of them lately, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, to me it means there are multiple places to get the vaccine," said Tyler Brock with the Siouxland District Health Department.
There are still openings in the next clinic that is set to take place on Thursday.
