SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A front has been slowly moving through Siouxland this morning and it has brought a couple of rounds of showers and thunderstorms over the last 24 hours.

We are seeing a break now but showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to move in from the southeast again this afternoon.

A storm or two may become strong in southeastern Siouxland with hail and gusty winds possible in the strongest storms.

Temperatures will be stuck in the 40s in western Siouxland with highs in the 60s in the east ahead of the front.

Showers look to continue through the night and into our Thursday with winds staying up at 15 to 30 miles per hour out of the northwest.

Temperatures will be fairly steady through that time frame in the 40s to near 50.

A few isolated showers will even be possible on Friday.
