SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Iowa Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg is scheduled to be in Sioux City this Friday to get a COVID-19 vaccine.

During a news conference Wednesday, Gov. Kim Reynolds announced her lieutenant governor would be getting the vaccine at the Siouxland Expo Center in Sioux City.

The purpose of the event is to encourage Iowans to get vaccinated against COVID-19, now that everyone 16 and older is eligible for a vaccine.
