SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A round of showers moved through overnight and cloud cover from those stuck around this morning for areas east of Interstate 29.

However, clearing is taking place and afternoon temperatures will still end up pretty close to average for this time of year in the low to mid 60s.

Meanwhile, expect some cloud cover to roll into western Siouxland this afternoon behind a cold front that drifts through the area.

We will have the chance for some sprinkles or flurries overnight though nothing is expected to stick.

Lows will be in the 30s with a northwest breeze remaining in place through the night.

Saturday will be a little cooler as we only top out in the 50s though we will get some sunshine.

A rain or snow shower may again pass through the area Saturday night.

Sunday will be back in the 60s but winds will become blustery again.
