(KTIV) - Iowa health officials are reporting 19,808 more people have completed their vaccine series, meaning 1,083,955 individuals are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
As of Sunday morning, the state's COVID-19 vaccine dashboard shows 2,275,001 total vaccine doses have been administered to Iowa residents.
Between 10 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, there were 326 new, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state. So far, Iowa has reported 365,490 people have tested positive for the virus
Of those who have tested positive, 347,966 have recovered, an increase of 253 since yesterday.
Iowa's COVID-19 dashboard shows two additional virus-related deaths have been reported, bringing the state's death toll to 5,952.
Subtracting the number of recoveries (347,966) and the number of deaths (5,952) from the total number of cases (365,490) shows there are currently 11,572 active positive cases in the state.
The latest report from the Iowa Department of Public Health says there are 179 hospitalizations due to the virus, which is down from 189 reported on Saturday. Of those hospitalizations, 42 are in the ICU and 19 are on ventilators.
In Iowa, there were 3,677 test results reported in the last 24 hours, and a total of 1,713,817 people have been tested for COVID-19.
