(KTIV) - Iowa health officials are reporting 13,310 more people have completed their vaccine series, for a total of 1,097,265 people fully vaccinated against COVID-19
As of Monday morning, the state's COVID-19 vaccine dashboard shows 2,293,236 total vaccine doses have been administered to Iowa residents.
Between 10 a.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday, there were 130 new, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state. So far, Iowa has reported 365,620 people have tested positive for the virus
Of those who have tested positive, 348,102 have recovered, an increase of 136 since yesterday.
Iowa's COVID-19 dashboard shows seven additional virus-related deaths have been reported, bringing the state's death toll to 5,959.
Subtracting the number of recoveries (348,102) and the number of deaths (5,959) from the total number of cases (365,620) shows there are currently 11,559 active positive cases in the state.
The latest report from the Iowa Department of Public Health says there are 181 hospitalizations due to the virus, which is up from 179 reported on Sunday. Of those hospitalizations, 45 are in the ICU and 20 are on ventilators.
In Iowa, there were 992 test results reported in the last 24 hours, and a total of 1,714,809 people have been tested for COVID-19.
