UPDATE

BRONSON, Iowa (KTIV) - No serious injuries are being reported after an accident resulted in a school bus rolling off a rural road in Woodbury County, and on its side, with several students on board.

The rollover happened at about 3:40 p.m. in the 1900 block of County Home Road near Bronson, Iowa. Woodbury County Sheriff's deputies are now looking at what could have caused the school bus, from the Lawton-Bronson Community School District, to roll over.

Authorities say the school bus was carrying 15 elementary students at the time of the accident.

One child was transported to a local hospital for a minor leg injury. Other children suffered minor scrapes and bruises.

The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.

BRONSON, Iowa (KTIV) - Law enforcement and rescue crews responded to a school bus rollover Tuesday afternoon in Woodbury County.

The accident was reported at about 3:40 p.m. in the 1900 block of County Home Road just outside of Bronson, Iowa.

Chad Shook, the superintendent of the Lawton-Bronson School District says the bus tipped over on its side. Shook says all of the students are okay and they are being picked up by their parents.
