(KTIV) - Iowa health officials are reporting 6,037 more people have completed their vaccine series, for a total of 1,103,302 people fully vaccinated against COVID-19
As of Tuesday morning, the state's COVID-19 vaccine dashboard shows 2,300,751 total vaccine doses have been administered to Iowa residents.
Between 10 a.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday, there were 373 new, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state. So far, Iowa has reported 365,993 people have tested positive for the virus
Of those who have tested positive, 349,005 have recovered, an increase of 903 since yesterday.
Iowa's COVID-19 dashboard shows no additional virus-related deaths have been reported, keeping the state's death toll to 5,959.
Subtracting the number of recoveries (349,005) and the number of deaths (5,959) from the total number of cases (365,993) shows there are currently 11,029 active positive cases in the state.
The latest report from the Iowa Department of Public Health says there are 195 hospitalizations due to the virus, which is up from 181 reported on Monday. Of those hospitalizations, 48 are in the ICU and 23 are on ventilators.
In Iowa, there were 2,356 test results reported in the last 24 hours, and a total of 1,717,165 people have been tested for COVID-19.
